Obituaries

Paula, I am deeply saddened to hear of the death of Walt, having just been informed of his passing thru a Comten forum for alumni. Walt and I worker together through several major programs beginning at Univac at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland and later at Comcet/Comten early years. Walt was a mentor to me in several instances in my career and I am forever endebited to him for his gracious tutelage. Unknown to me at the time, there is the strong possibility that Walt and I worked for Lockheed Martin Corp concurrently, though he at Eagan and I at Orlando, FL, although I retired 10 years after Walt did. Tracy and Kaitlyn, I am really sorry for your loss. I know how close you were to your father and grandfather and what an influence he had on your life. He fought a courageous battle, and loved so deeply. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Godspeed.
