Our hearts go out to all who loved Mimi, and to all who Mimi loved. We are privileged to have enjoyed being neighbors of the Hoffman family in Takoma Park, Maryland for many years, and to continue our friendship with some of you, and we hope your memories will comfort you and bring you peace.;

Robert, Samson, Nina, I am so sorry for the loss of Mimi and your mother. She was such a sweetheart. I remember her telling me when she was pregnant with Samson and surprising everyone on Thanksgiving when they were at Alex and Mary Kaye's. I know she will be looking down on you and giving all her love to you. I send all my love any prayers to you. Carol Baker;

My thoughts and prayers are with Mimi's family and friends at this difficult time. I had the pleasure of working with Mimi on many projects at Walt Disney World. I admired her energy, skills and huge heart.;

Mimi and I were as thick as thieves back in our college days. She had a unique quality about her and was remarkably successful academically (which, I might add, came as a great surprise to her party friends with whom she was forever dancing away the nights!) She was a sheer delight to be around with her infectious laugh, vibrant personality, fantastic sense of humor and warm aura. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing, but I believe those of us who were lucky enough to have know her, as brief as her stay with us was, are better people for it. Rest, Mimi.;

I was so very sad to hear about Mimi's passing. Mimi and I met at the University of Maryland and were in the same sorority back in the early 1980s. She was always so much fun to be around and I considered her to be one of my closest friends in college. I visited with her when she worked at Disneyworld in the 1990s and attended her wedding to Robert in 1997 which was at Disney. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the family, she was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by so many.;

I feel like I knew Mimi even though I never met her. Her sister-n-law Mary Kaye has shared numerous stories of the family with me and I am sorry I never got to meet her in person. I am very sorry for your loss and know that she will be forever cherished by you all.;

I had the privilege of meeting Mimi only once. However,though my close association with her husband Robert, I grew to know very well her struggles with cancer. I was and am deeply moved by her resolve, her integrity, her love & loyalty for others and her deep spirituality. Robert and Mimi were true "Soul Mates" in every sense. She will be missed by many but the fruits of her life will live on and she will be remembered and in the hearts of those who crossed her path. May God bless her and provide comfort to her family during their journeys of grief. I,m sure that God has a special place for her in Heaven.;
