I was so saddened to hear about the passing of Fred Olsen. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and close ones. I was lucky to know such a great man, and to call him my great uncle. He always knew how to lighten up a room and I loved seeing him come to all the family events. His personality was inspiring and contagious to all those around him. Uncle Fred had a huge heart and will be missed deeply. Death is such a hard thing to grasp and understand but I know that Uncle Fred is in a good place and that he is in the hands of God. There is no doubt that he is having a wonderful time up in heaven. Rest in peace. You will forever be loved by many. Love, Kelly Madison;

My most sincere and deepest condolences to the children of Fred Olson. The many memories I have of my Uncle Fred in life involve his genuine, laughing face whenever he was around loved ones. I can remember him there when I was a kid, the way his face would twitch as he adjusted his glasses, or how he always seemed to smell like metal and caramel candies. He always asked me how I was doing, or what was new in my life. Uncle Fred was a good-hearted man whom I and my family will miss. May he rest in peace forever on. We love you, Fred. Love and prayers, Nichole Dygert;
