Bruce & Debbie, I have so many fond memories of uncle Don at our Christmas Eve and Easter gatherings at Grandma Rose?s house. There was always great conversation and laughter around the dinner table (meals consisting of Polish Sausage, Polish jellied meat (yuck!), lutefisk with cream sauce (double-yuck!), fattigman cookies, rosettes, and rum balls). I remember Don for his marvelous sense of humor, contagious laugh, and the twinkle in his eye. Bruce, your dad always looked forward to the annual hunting trip with you, and he spoke fondly of spending time with you doing something he really enjoyed. Debbie, when you had major surgery, your dad wouldn?t have it any other way than to be by your side and nurse you back to health. Don thought the world of both of you and he often bragged to my mom about how lucky he was to have such terrific children. May you feel the Lord?s presence as you adjust to life without your wonderful dad. We will all miss him! Love, Cousin Tammy
