Frandsen, Virginia M. “Ginny” (nee Carlson) age 89 of Mpls. Preceded in death by parents, Edith & Lawrence Carlson, Sr. and brother Lawrence Carlson, Jr. She will be greatly missed by her loving family: husband of 65 years, Raymond; son, Gordon; daughters, Marlys Tamte (Mark) and Gail Hall (Charles); grandchildren: Charlie Hall (Ashley), Andy Hall (Sophie), Elyse Frandsen and Brenton Frandsen; great-grandsons, Caiden, Austin and Sawyer Hall; extended loving family in Sweden, Denmark and across the U.S. She was a 51-year member of Mt Olivet Lutheran Church, active member of Social Order of the Beauceant, Småland Forbundet, VesterGötland Society and 50-year member of Eastern Star. She provided her husband, children and grandchildren with unconditional love, kindness, delicious meals and Swedish lessons. Ginny was great fun. She will also be missed by multitudes of friends, especially homebounds, who regularly received letters filled with compassion and love. Ginny was a dedicated genealogist, discovering relatives that became cherished friends. Ginny affected so many lives in personal and wonderful ways. Stor Kram Mor. Vi älsker dig! Memorial service 1 PM, Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave. So., Mpls. Visitation Friday, 4-7 PM, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery, Saturday at 10 AM.  In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
