Collier, Sitha (Hien)

Age 53 of Apple Valley, MN, passed away from a brief illness on November 3^rd, 2021 with loved ones by her side at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN. Sitha (Hien) Collier was born to the late Thao Hin & Khoan Sokha on August 3^rd, 1968 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

She moved to St. Paul, Minnesota with her family at a young age of 12 due to the Khmer Rouge War in 1980. She graduated from St. Paul Central High School in 1985 and later attended University of Minnesota for 2 years in the study of Economics. In the spring of 1988, March 3^rd, on the last day of her part time job she would meet the love of her life, Frederick Collier. Sitha was employed at First American Title Insurance as the Title Policy Assistant, she worked there for 23 years. Prior to that, her other most relevant job was at Edina Realty for 10 years where she started her experience in Title work.

Sitha is the second youngest of five siblings, Chhenthy, Saving, Chanthou, and Sam. She is survived by her her husband, Frederick Collier; daughters, Delishia Collier and Alisha (Nick Hopperstad) Collier; grandchild, Ennis Sweats III; mother, Khoan Sokha; siblings, Chhenthy Hin, Saving (Chhantha) Mann, Chanthou (Dan) Faust and Sam Hin; mother-in-law, Alice Collier; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Mitchell Collier, Pamela Collier, Michael Collier, Tracy Collier, Zandra Collier and Gale (Collier) Jamison. Sitha spent a lot of time with her loving nieces and nephews, Chhanthy (Samra) Mann, Lisa (Adrian) Mann, Michael (Tina) Mann, Thayvna Hin, David Hin, Demonica Spencer,  Martrice Collier, Raina Collier, Deja Collier, and Milo Collier; great-nieces and great-nephews, Raniyah Collier, Leveah Collier, Leona Collier, Jaelin Mann, Rylan Mann, Niyah and Ariyah. Preceded by her father, Thao Hin; father-in-law, Willie Collier; and 2 of her sisters.

On October 31^st, 1989, Fred and Sitha welcomed their first child, Delishia. Then, they got married on September 22^nd, 1997. They had a loving and passionate marriage for a total of 33 years. Two years after getting married, on October 14^th, 1999, they welcomed their second child Alisha. On October 11^th, 2015, her eldest daughter had her first grandchild, Ennis Sweats III, and they were inseparable, bestfriends forever!

Sitha was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and caregiver. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was the peacemaker of the family and treated everyone with respect, love, and support. She will forever be in our hearts. She loved everyone unconditionally and she will always be remembered for that.

Funeral at 12:00pm on Tuesday, November 16^th, 2021, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley, with visitation one hour prior.
