Peterson, Sandra L. (Terzick) Berg

Age 70 of Mpls., passed away July 28, 2018 after a short duration with ALS. Born Jan. 13, 1948 in Joliet, IL to Robert A. & Betty J. (Weseman) Terzick. Preceded in death by father; brother, Robert A. Terzick, Jr.; first husband, William E. Berg. Survived by husband of 27 years, Randy J. Peterson; mother; brother, Richard A. Terzick and his partner, Joseph Manuel; uncle, aunts, cousins in MN and IL; niece, Amy (Terzick) Thomas; brother & sister in-law, Jim & Marci (Peterson) Olson; nephew & niece, Andrew (Emma) Olson & Erika Olson; many cherished neighbors & friends. Sandy graduated from West HS, Joliet, and Metro State University, St. Paul. She was management asst at the MN Historical Society historic sites dept., and coordinator with volunteer services organizations and senior residences in the metro area. She was a deeply caring and giving person. She enjoyed travel, especially annually to Red Wing and the Lake Pepin area, history and historic sites, reading mysteries, herb & flower gardening and being with family & friends. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 18th Ave. S. & Minnehaha Parkway, Mpls. with a visitation one hour before. Lunch to follow at Lakewood Cemetery Mausoleum, 3600 Hennepin Ave. S. at 12:30 PM. Private interment at Hillside Cemetery. Memorials to NC Little Hospice, Edina, MN or ALS Assoc., MN Chapter, Mpls.
