Wilkinson Ronald Wayne Wilkinson, age 64, of Savage, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family who loved him dearly. Born on June 16, 1940, in Toulon, Illinois, Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Lucille. He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Carla (Steve); son, Todd and 3 adoring grandchildren; Alec, Jacob and Maya; brother, Dean and sister, Joann; and many other family members and friends who cherished him. Ron was a dynamic and talented man with a magnetic personality. His interests and skills were many and he was happiest when in his garage working on one of his old cars. He was a skilled musician who enjoyed playing the guitar, piano and fiddle. He loved to travel and was an avid horseshoe player. His sense of adventure and love of life will be deeply missed, but will live on in all who knew and loved him. We will miss him every day, but take comfort in knowing that we will be reunited one day. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 18th at St. James Lutheran Church, 3650 Williams Drive, Burnsville, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 17th at the church and one hour before Services.
