Rhonda Irene Grotkin
age 52, of Apple Valley, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2014. Cherished wife of Jack Grotkin and devoted mother of John, Lauren, and Christopher Grotkin. First of her family to earn her college degree and worked in the legal profession, but proud mother to her beautiful children was her most valued life’s work. Talented quilter, devoted volunteer for community charities, and happy cabin goer. Laughed profusely, loved wholeheartedly. Truly dedicated to her family, and a loyal friend to all. She will forever be remembered for her contagious smile, and with a diet Coke in her hand. Also survived and greatly missed by her loving parents, Alan and Doris Schaefer; brother, Clayt (Lori) Schaefer and their children, Corey and Dustin Schaefer; mother-in-law, Dorothy Grotkin; sister-in-law, Terry (Gary) Schroeder and their children Aaron and Colin Schroeder; sister-in-law, Patricia (Ron) Fleck; sister-in-law, Diane (Jack) Callahan and their children Mary and John Callahan; sister-in-law, Ginny (Tony) Udelhoven and their children, Rachel Udelhoven, Emily (Tim) Ehlinger, and Adam Udelhoven; and daughter-in-law, Sophia Borth, as well as many other family members and friends.
