Rebecca “Becky” Brown

Age 71 of Apple Valley born March 28, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN, to Norman and Helen Tolifson, passed away on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021, surrounded by her family who she loved and cherished.

Becky and family were longtime residents of Richfield.  Becky graduated Richfield High School and went on to work for Hennepin County.  She worked for 30+ years as an Adult Assistance Case Worker.  She helped people less fortunate get the help they needed to get back on their feet.

Becky enjoyed traveling near and far.  She loved going to Mystic Lake with her friends, Pat and Sherry, playing bingo with her mom, Helen and going to her kids sporting events.  But her biggest joy was just sitting around the house with her family.  She loved just being around “her girls” Mikayla and Morgan.

She was the middle of 3 children (Robert, Becky, Charlene).  Becky will be dearly missed by her son, Matthew (Kimberly); granddaughters, Mikayla and Morgan; “bonus” grandchildren, Zachary and Brittany; brother, Robert; nephew, Andrew (Jenny), niece, Simone (Robert), nephew Parker (Emily); best friends, Sherry and Pat, and many other family and friends who she adored and loved.

Memorial Service, 3:00 PM, Thursday, September 9, 2021 with visitation one hour before at Henry W Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave. Apple Valley.
