Helen and Ralph welcomed us into their home when we arrived for graduate school in 1962. They hosted Sunday dinners and brunches for us. Ralph gave me financial advice (which I still have, and is still good, although I couldn't act on it at the time). As a boy he took me fishing in a boat - a big thing for me! I admired the way he cared for Helen and am glad I was able to visit him a couple of years ago.
