It was only recently that I learned of Phil's death. I am sorry. We went through boot camp together. I remember him as the Catholic chaplain's assistant, a man well liked with a positive attitude and unconquerable spirit. I wish things could have ended differently. Fair winds and following seas, rest your oar Marine, til Valhalla.
