Norma Jean Bell was born into this world on August 19, 1946 to Harvey and Iris Bell. She was born again as a child of God at her baptism on September 15 at Hartland Lutheran in Hartland, MN.

Norma grew up in Hartland, and graduated from New Richland High School in 1964. She attended Bethany Lutheran College receiving her A.A. degree.

Norma and Alan Miller were married on November 1st, 1981 at Hartland Lutheran Church. They were blessed by God with one daughter Elizabeth.

Norma started her career as a teacher, but did not like to give bad grades, so she followed a more creative path working as a florist, sewing gymnastics uniforms and then assisted with consulting of everyone’s fabric needs at Jo-Ann’s. She loved to shop, and give gifts to others so she bought the Gift Box in Northwood, IA and ran this go-to gift shop for years.

Norma loved to bake and was known for her chocolate cake. In her later years, she continued to bake for others at the assisted living.

Norma was preceded in death by her Husband, Alan; parents, Harvey and Iris Bell; her mother and father-in-law, Archer and Florence Miller; brother, David Bell; sister, Virginia Anderson and many aunts and uncles.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth and her fur children Tiffy and Twix; brothers, Craig (Penny) Bell and Daniel (Lori) Bell; sister-in-law, Kathy Bell-Fiedelman; brother-in-law, Terry Anderson and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Lord called Norma Miller to her eternal home in heaven on Tuesday, October 25th,2022. The Lord granted Norma 76 years of grace here on this earth.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am,  November 1, 2022 with a visitation one hour before at Hope Lutheran Church, 19600 Camrose Way in Farmington. Her body will be laid to rest on Tuesday November 1, 2022 at the Hartland Cemetery in Hartland, MN.

Norma loved her granddogs. Memorials may be made to Warrior Dog Rescue.
