Myrtle M. Sweere, age 99 of Minneapolis, born April 20, 1906 in Barlow, N.D., passed away December 15, 2005. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfonse; son, Donald Sweere; brother, John W. Schmid; and grandchildren, Mark and Allen Clemenson. Survived by daughters: Catherine Yadon, Agnes Clemenson, Helen Diggins, Margaret L. Bean and Rosemary Daniels ; 24 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Chester Schmid (Florence); and several nieces; nephews; family and friends. Visitation, 4 – 7 PM, Friday, December, 16 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls. and one hour before the service Saturday at church. Funeral Service, 11AM, Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4120 17th Ave. So., Mpls. Interment at a later date in Carrington, N.D. Myrtle had a generous and accepting spirit who touched many lives with her afghans and cinnamon rolls, traveling continuously to several of her grandchildren’s homes and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
