To Katy, Jeff, and Mary Kay's parents and siblings, we extend our deepest sympathies in the loss of your mom, daughter and sister. I met Mary Kay at a SOTV women's retreat in the early 1980's and we discovered we were birthday buddies (shared the same day and year). We also both joined handbells. We enjoyed dinner out together before I moved to Branson in 2006. I believe she is at peace now and I was blessed to have known her. God Bless.;

My sympathy goes out to all family members and good friends of Mary Kay. Mary Kay was a great friend who will always have a special place in my heart. I enjoyed a great friendship with Mary Kay during high school and also for the short time I attended R.S.J.C. with her. Mary Kay used to pick me up everyday for school once she had her first car. I still remember all the great conversations and fun we had riding around in her cute little car. My favorite time with her was early in the moring when we would stop for coffee and doughnuts before heading off to our classes in college. It always gave us time to chat and relax before the start of class. I'm so sorry I lost track of her after I married and moved away. I tried several times over the past several years to locate her, but to no avail. May wonderful memories of Mary Kay fill everyone's heart with love and joy. With deepest sympathy, Sandra (Stephenson) Swain;

I would like to give my condolences to Mary Kay's children, parents and sisters. I have many fond memories of Mary Kay while in junior and senior high school in Rochester. I spent at least one Friday night a month sleeping at the Mullers. And then went to confirmation classes with her the next day. I'd like to share one experience that I'll always remember. Mary Kay went tobogganing with my family one Sunday. The toboggan was my Christmas gift that year and it was our first outing. My father, Mary Kay and I were the first ones to use it. Dad was in front of Mary Kay and I was behind her. The snow was very light but deep. As we went down the hill, the snow flew into my father's face so he rolled off and left Mary Kay and me on the toboggan. Mary Kay turned around and screamed "What do I do now?" Luckily the snow was deep enough at the bottom of the hill to stop the toboggan. We made quite a few more trips down the hill that day but none as memorable as that first attempt. Rest in peace my good friend.;

Mary Kay was always so sweet to us and Neal. She was always welcoming and had a great smile! I enjoyed chatting with her and shopping - we had fun in Florida! Katie will sorely miss her Mom and best friend! We will also miss her generosity in welcoming our Tovsen family into hers. We love you, Mary Kay!
