Sarno, Mary E.
age 87, of Apple Valley, formerly of Pembroke Pines, FL passed away Oct. 25, 2014 from complications of congestive heart failure. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her sister, Rosale; 5 brothers, Jim, Ralph, Willie, Gene and Jerry. Mary is survived by her son, Dominic (Pat); her daughter, Mary Louise (Roger) Harris; 6 grandchildren, Bryan (Alejandra), Michael (Zulie), Nick, Kenneth, Beth and Frank; 3 great-grandchildren, Elena, Diego and Cecilia; a brother, Mario (Barbara) Esposito; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mary was a vibrant and loving person who put others before her. She was a mother to many more than her two children and filled the hearts of those she touched with love. She will be missed. A special thanks to all her angels who showed her warmth, kindness and genuine friendship. Your impact on her and her family was much greater than you will ever know. Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be held on Monday, Nov. 3 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 13900 Biscayne Ave., Rosemount with her visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 2:05 PM, Lane #1. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred for St. Joseph Church/Rosemount.
