Just read in the paper of Mary's passing. I had the pleasure of serving the two of you at the Gathering Grounds in Perham. Sending my sympathy.

Rich and family: I have lost a very dear friend. I have been blessed to have called Mary my friend. I first met her at Church in Perham. She and I were in a Circle together. She hosted our Circle several times at their Home on Long Lake. We had many occasions where we either gathered for lunch or coffee. Often met in Vergas. As she progressed in the disease it became harder for me to communicate with her. Through her I became acquainted with their daughter Lisa and also was privileged to be invited to Abby's wedding. I miss our talks. I have been so blessed having met the McCrady family. My heart aches for all of you.

Mary was my beloved oldest sister. Our Mom always said she was her little helper, which included entertaining and caring for the "little ones." The activities included teaching us to read. It was great practice for what she excelled at the most in her life: Being a great mom.
