Marion Ellan Westrum

Our beloved Mama was welcomed by her Savior, Jesus into Heaven on December 4, 2019, one day before her 88th birthday. Marion was born December 5, 1931, the baby of Ernest and Caroline (Espeland) Johnson.  She now has joined them along with her siblings: Thelma, Evie, Clarence, Rose, Barbara Jean, Helen, Sally, Jennie, Toni (Alice), and Sonny; former husbands, Kermit Hallum, and Thomas Westrum; infant daughter, Jayne Kay and great grandsons, Derek Lendosky and Xavier Van Slyke. Left behind to treasure her memory are her daughters, Vicki (Edward) Brendemuhl and Barbara (John) Kolesar; son, Jeffrey (Annette) Hallum; grandchildren: Eric, John, Caroline, Brandee, Adam, Anna, Andrew, Nathan and Nolan; great- grandchildren: Tony, William, Tala, Jacob, Samuel, Jayden, Lucas, Peyton, Natasha, Janie, Naomi, Isaac, Alex, Michael, Violet, Nicholas, Marigold, Andre and Nanami. Mom will always be our treasure, an epitome of silent strength and an amazing role model. Mom loved her Trips to sand and sea extending from coast to coast and especially a love for fishing and all things fun. Her love for family extended to her neighbors, co- workers, church family and in these past years her friends at Nokomis Square. A special thank you to Pastor Davis, as well as Kristin, Kara and Rebecca from Fairview Hospice.  Visitation, 5-7 PM, Monday, December 9, 2019 at Henry W Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley.  Funeral Service, 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 10 with visitation one hour before at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, 3430 E. 51st St., Minneapolis.  Mom will be laid to rest at Lakewood Cemetery.
