Olson, Marilyn F.
Age 97 of Richfield, formerly of Minneapolis, passed away on July 4, 2016. Marilyn lived most of her childhood in Duluth, MN moving to Minneapolis in January 1936. Preceded in death by husband Ralph; and parents Fred and Florence Harris. Survived by son, Ralph (Mary) and daughter Mary (Ken) Anderson; brother Sherman (Jan) Harris; sisters Gloria Tew, Ann Harris, Barbara (Bob) Wilson; grandchildren Djuanda, Bryan, Jenny, Rod and Rick; great grandchildren Kayla, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Rico, Ashley, Selena and Zachary; plus 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She worked as a waitress, sales clerk, contometer operator and 20 years at Sears on the phone order board. She helped where needed at Crosstown Covenant Church “Spice of Life” and Silver Fellowship. Her dear friend, Ken Yamaguchi was her guardian angel here on earth. Service Monday 11:00 AM at Crosstown Covenant Church, 5540 30th Ave. S., Minneapolis, with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment at Pleasantview. Memorials to the church.
