Marguerite C. Taylor,
Age 78 of Minneapolis, born June 25, 1945 in Minneapolis to William and Dorothy Connoy, passed away
peacefully, November 5, 2023.
Marguerite (affectionately known as “The Kissing Grandma”) was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Nothing gave her more pleasure in life than to be surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She
brought her unconditional love and laughter to everyone around her. Her grandchildren will miss hearing
“You Are My Sunshine” and getting the annual Happy Birthday phone call. Her visits with her dog
Sergio were always a hit! She will be forever remembered for her warmth and love and her uncanny
snuggling abilities.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Andrew and sister, Joan.
Marguerite will be dearly missed by her children: David (Cathy) Taylor, John (Mandy) Taylor and Amy
(Kevin) Lang; grandchildren: Madeline, Patrick, Charlie, Molly, Emma, Cullen, Eloise, Henry and Quinn;
siblings: John Connoy, William “Bill” (Sandra) Connoy and Mary Laurinaitis and many other family and
friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 17, 2023 with a visitation one hour before
at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave. in Apple Valley.
Marguerite will be laid to rest with her parents and other family at St. Patrick’s Cemetery near Maple
Grove.
