We have missed our middle of the street discussions. They were the best! Right now we could be talking about the wild turkeys that moved into the trees behind our house but have gone over to visit your yard! We have been thinking about you a lot lately as we have been cleaning out this house so we can move on. You were right about the hardwood floors in the lower level - they are uncovered now and are beautiful. However, we recently discovered that there are hardwood floors in all of our bedrooms upstairs! They are staying covered for the new family to discover and decide about. Just yesterday, I met the new Baby who lives in your house. He came across the street in his Mom's arms to say hello! He's a little like you - tall and kind of skinny! I'm sorry we didn't get one more conversation in but staying home seems to be the thing now! As soon as we can, we'll visit with Donna. Your Girls and Donna will take care of each other as they learn to live without their wonderful Guy. We're sorry for their loss. Love to All! Rich & Marilyn

Good bye, sir. You never knew it, but your character and example inspired me to seek a new life in the USAF (23 years). Despite my teen foibles, chasing after your daughters and putting oil in your radiator, you always greeted me with a smile and a kind word. I salute you, and send my sincerest condolences to Donna, Tracy and Valerie.
