RUTZEN
Louis A, 9/4/1928 to 10/28/2008. Born in Eldora IA and later of Worthington, MN, Minneapolis, MN, and Ely, MN. Veteran of the Korean War. He married Joyce Olson in Milaca, MN in 1952. They lived in Minneapolis where they raised their family. Lou worked for the City of Minneapolis for many years before retiring to life on the lake near Ely. Preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister and 1 grandson. Survived by his loving wife, Joyce; children, Doug (Anita), Janet (Greg) Albjerg, Dan (JoEllen), Dean (Nancy), and Jim (Martha); and 11 grandchildren. Memorial service 2 PM Saturday, November 1st at Word of Grace Baptist Church, 2120 E. 38th St. South, Minneapolis with his visitation one hour prior to the service in the church. Memorials prefered to Alzheimer’s Association and Samaritans Purse Ministry.
