Anderson, Laurence A. “Larry”

Age 82 of Apple Valley, MN died on May 3, 2023. Larry was a beloved brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth McKie; his much-loved children, Jeanne Anderson, Ross Anderson, and Rachael Anderson; his adored grandsons, Adam (Amy) Lorch, Tyler Anderson, and Jake Wachsmuth; beloved brother, Gary Anderson; beloved sister, Joy (Ray) Hurley; mother of Jeanne and Ross, Elaine Anderson-Fellows; nieces, Janelle LaRue, Laurie (Sam) Mechtel, Jackie (Jim) Bauer, and Julie Wollenberg; nephews, David (Tracie) LaRue and Michael LaRue; many great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence and Ann Anderson; and sister-in-law, Barbara Anderson. Larry practiced corporate and taxation law for over 50 years. Larry will be remembered for his devotion and love to family, loyalty to friends, intelligence, and sense of humor. He will be forever missed. Memorial Service at 11am on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, with visitation one hour prior. Burial at Union Cemetery in Maplewood. Immediately following the burial, a reception will be held at the couple’s home for a time of sharing, eating, and celebrating Larry’s life. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Arthritis National Research Foundation (https://curearthritis.org/donate/) or a charity of your choice.
