Hansen, Keith

Age 89 of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully in his home on September 6, 2022, after a long battle with kidney disease. Preceded in death by his parents and 9 siblings. Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Carol; children, Sharon (Darrell) Hein, Pam (Geoff) Eitland, and Michael (Karen) Hansen; grandchildren, Jason Hein, Justin (Karla) Hein, Ryan (Aubrey) Eitland, Jeremy Eitland, Matthew Lendway, and Jason Lendway; great-grandchildren, Jamison, Brycen, Bentley, Tyeson, Easton, and Madison; siblings, Carol Bongard, Harold Hansen, and Barb Horvitz; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Keith was a proud U.S. Marine Veteran. He was very active in the USO in Beaufort, South Carolina. Keith had a strong faith and was very involved with Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. He was a tender, softhearted, humble, and giving man. Keith was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Memorial Service at 11:30am on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley, with visitation one hour prior. Inurnment at Shepherd of the Valley Memorial Garden.
