I'm going to miss you at Karen. One of the easiest people to talk to I've ever had in my life. She never had judgment or scorn for anybody, and I know that in the Lord's hands she's going to find that same kind of love that she gave the other people.;

Karen Sweet was an incredibly loving and inspirational woman. Her passing is such a heartbreaking loss for so many people that had the privilege of knowing her. As a former student, I have many fond memories of her smile, her kindness, her passion, and her spark. She is one of the most influential women I?ve known and I am forever grateful for the impact she has had on my life. Even though the world is a little dimmer by her absence, her memory will continue to light up the hearts of everyone she knew. With my deepest sympathies and a heavy heart, my prayers are with all of you.;

So sorry for your loss. I am a 1988 graduate. I had your mom as a teacher. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.;

Dear Leah, Anne, Julie, and Rob, your mother was truest to her name, sweet beyond description, and to her calling, a master teacher with generosity, kindness, creativity, curiosity, and an uncanny ability to inspire students. She was someone who was a delight to teach with, a listener who never tired of your talking, an inspiration to thousands of students. Beyond inspiring her students, she also touched the lives of those of us fortunate enough to teach with her. I treasured the field trips she and I chaperoned, the times we collaborated on curriculum, the ideas she shared for reaching students, and the many kindnesses she gave so willingly. She will remain alive in the hearts of all of us whose lives she touched so deeply. I am so sorry for your loss of her physical presence, but there is no doubt in my mind that she will remain in your hearts and memories forever. What a treasure she is for each of you and for all whose lives she touched.;
