KAREN A. BUSH
Age 84 of Burnsville, born August 31, 1938 in Windom, MN to Gordon and Mabel Sommerland, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bush; sister, Sandra Sommerland and brother, Gary Sommerland. Karen will be dearly missed by her sons, Mark (Lynne) and Jeffrey (fiancé, Jennifer); grandchildren, Dana (Dan) and Matthew (Stephanie); great-grandchildren: Chantel and Easton Staupe and Bella Bush; sister, Janet (Robert) Sabes and many other family and friends.
Karen was a loving wife and mother. She adored being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a passion for golf, flower-gardening and loved spending time with family up at the cabin. She was a huge fan of the Minnesota Gophers.
Karen will be laid to rest next to her husband, Thomas following a graveside service at 9:30 A.M. Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Assembly Area #6. Brunch to follow.
