Joyce Victorson May

Age 90 of Eagan, died on October 14, 2016. Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Milton Victorson; husband of 15 years, Richard May; parents, Lud & Alice Jongquist; brother, Paul “Bumpy” Jongquist. Survived by children, Gary (Jan) Victorson, Dean (Joanne) Victorson and Nancy (John) Varpness; grandchildren, Jessica (Chris) Medinger, Alice (Jason) Matthias, Emily (Ryan) Gunderson, Amanda Victorson, Jon Victorson, Chase (Catherine) Victorson, Andrew (Angela) Varpness, Molly (Ryan) Hiller and Kelsey (Alex) Wasserburger; great-grandchildren, Halie, Anna, Claire, Evan, Sean, Arya, Kendra, Michael, Stella, Olive, Willa, Nolan, Josephine and Linden; step-children, Robert, Susan and Rick (Linda) May; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was baptized, confirmed and married at Augustana Lutheran Church in Mpls. and was an active member until she passed. Joyce was the president of the Auxiliary at Augustana Care Center in Mpls. She was a proud retiree of North Central, Republic and Northwest Airlines. Joyce loved to travel and was a devoted mom, grandma and GG. Funeral at 1:00pm on Sat., Oct. 22, 2016 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13801 Fairview Dr., Burnsville, with visitation one hour prior. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Augustana Care Center (1007 E. 14th St., Minneapolis, MN 55404) OR The American Swedish Institute (2600 Park Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55407).
