Allen, John K.

Age 43 of Rosemount, passed away on November 3, 2021, surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by his dad, David. Survived by his wife, Carrie; sons, Jacob and Bryson; mom, Deborah; brothers, Paul and Michael (Julia); sister, Rachel; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. John was a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls and stayed close with many of his fraternity brothers over the years. He always looked forward to their annual canoe trips. John worked for Optum as a Director of Information Security and at LERN as a Senior Technology Manager. John coached his sons’ hockey teams and loved attending all their sporting events. He enjoyed to travel and take trips with his family. John had a very playful nature and sense of humor. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation from 4-7pm on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 13900 Biscayne Ave. W., Rosemount, with visitation one hour prior.
