As a fellow Marine, John would call me Sarge whenever I wore my ol' E5 shirt on weekends. When I lived in South Minneapolis, we'd occasionally meet at Nokomis Beach Coffee for coffee.

I'm grateful to Jack for his many visits to see my mother in the later years of her life. I lived in Pennsylvania and so didn't get out to see her as often as I'd like. I'm sure that she appreciated seeing him a lot. Jack, give Aunt Eddie a hug from me! --John Miller
