Jeff passed away on the 23rd of February, 2015 at the age of 51. Jeff was born on the 7th of April, 1963 in Mankato, MN. Jeff grew up in Sauk Rapids and graduated from Sauk Rapids Senior High School before continuing on to St. Cloud State University. While at Sauk Rapids Senior High School he met Jane Ferkinhoff whom he later married in October of 1982. Jeff worked in the insurance industry throughout his career, working for CIGNA, St. Paul Co./Travelers & Arch Insurance. Though this is what he did for work, his true passions were his family and fishing. Of course! One of his greatest gifts was his ability to fix or build anything which he shared with family and friends. He loved it! Together, Jeff and Jane raised three children and recently re-united with their first daughter Anna. Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father-in-law. He leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Jane; children Anna (Matthew) Haynam, Erin (Michael) Horn, Kyle (Joshua Kohlhepp) and Rachel; parents Bruce and Karen; mother-in-law Kathy Ferkinhoff; siblings Steve (Dawn), Lana Moon, and Scott, along with many other loving family members and friends. He will be deeply missed and remembered by one of his many nicknames –Dawg, Tiny, Hoss, Rudy, & Pops. Memorials preferred in Jeff’s name to Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge. Visitation is scheduled for 4-7 PM Friday, February 27 at Henry W.
