Teigen, Jeanne Elizabeth,
age 81. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, James Caswell and her Godson, Greggory Biehoffer. Jeanne is survived by her sister, Judith Bauer and her family: Godchildren: Philip & Lauren Caswell, Eden Gapinski, Janel Richardson, Deborah Jeanne Kline, David & Kevin Klagge, Michael & Melanie Neadeau, John Vavrin, and Laura Ficenko. Jeanne was employed by the Federal Govt. for 32 years, serving with the Railroad Retirement Board, Commodity Credit Corp., and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Following retirement, she worked at Messiah Luth. Ch., Nokomis Park, and Ebenezer Care Center. For four years she served on a committee of the Phillips Neighborhood Improvement Assn. which saved the Phillips pool & gym from demolition. She was a member of Messiah L.C. (serving in many capacities there) and St. Stephen L.C. She was also a member of the Ebenezer, Augustana, Martin Luther Manor, and LSS Auxiliaries. Beginning in 1975, she helped to resettle many Vietnamese and Ethiopian refugees. Jeanne graduated from South High in 1952 and served for ten years on the Foundation Board.

To her family and friends, Jeanne says:

Service Thursday, October 13 at Historic Messiah Lutheran Church, 2501 Columbus Ave. S., Mpls. Visitation 10 AM, Service 11 AM.
Interment at Sunset Memorial Park.
