Jean Caroline Johnson (Wendt), 78, born September 15, 1932 in Springfield, MN, died August 28, 2011 in Apple Valley, MN. Preceded in death by mother Opal, father Wilbert, and brothers Donald and Robert. Survived by loving husband of nearly 59 years, Donald; two sons Donald Lee of Rosemount and Charles (wife Kathy) of Omaha, NE; 5 grandchildren she adored Brianna, Samantha, Emilee, Kyle and Matthew; 4 brothers James of Big Lake, Kenneth of San Tan Valley, AZ, David of Rosemount and Curtis (wife Pinky) of St. Paul; sister Carol Hoffmann (husband Allan) of San Tan Valley, AZ; many nieces and nephews she thought of as her own and great friends who’s lives she touched. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 AM Friday, September 2 at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 14980 Diamond Path, Rosemount. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Thursday, September 1 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley (952) 432-2331, and 1 hour prior to services at the church. Memorials are requested to the Building Fund at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Rosemount.
