Janell Lorraine (Weberg) Megarry

of St. Paul, MN. Born Jan. 13, 1926 in Mpls., passed away June 14, 2018 of congestive heart failure. Preceded in death by parents, Selmer and Bethel; husband, Charles Robert “Bob” Megarry; sister and brother-in-law, Beverly “Peggy” and Robert Falstad; and nephew, Michael (Patricia) Megarry. Janell earned a BA in languages from UND and later studied library science at the College of St. Catherine. She loved reading and opera and wrote mysteries and plays while raising her children. She did the crossword every day. Later in life she took up oil painting, her favorites being portraits of her family. She is dearly missed by children, David (Rose Shetka), Patricia (Bruce) Hostetler, and Kathleen (James L. Morrison); grandchildren, Martha and Henry Megarry; step-grandchildren, Matthew, Scott and Kyle; niece, Jan Beth Falstad; nephews, Robert (Rita) Falstad, Mark (Mary Kelley) Falstad; niece, Barbara (Milton) Monnier; and cousins & friends. Memorial Service & burial with husband Charles will be held July 24, 2018 at 2 pm with visitation 30 minutes prior at the Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave., Mpls.
