Lostetter, James A. “Jim”

Age 92 of Apple Valley, went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2023. Survived by his wife of 69 years, Beverly “Bev”; children, Randy (Vicki), Kristi (Tim) Testa, and Todd (Tracy); 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Jim learned the power of hard work on his family farm in Ellsworth, WI, and from his four years served in the United States Navy. After working in engineering and sales for Honeywell, Cozzens & Cudahy, and John Fluke Manufacturing, Jim eventually created a successful company called Digital Resource.

Above Jim’s devotion to his work – the Lord and his family came first. In 1973 a cabin was bought and renovated (by Jim, of course!) in Park Rapids, MN. His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren enjoy this special lake place to this day.

Jim was instrumental in the founding of Berean Baptist Church in Burnsville. Jim served as the first financial secretary and was a faithful member until the end.

Funeral at 12:00 noon on Sat., July 29, 2023, at Berean Baptist Church, 309 Co. Rd. 42 E., Burnsville, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
