Helene I. Gibbs, age 90 of Minneapolis/Scottsdale, born July 1, 1917 in Cuba City, WI, passed away February 1, 2008. Helene was a 50 year member of the Wold Chamberlain American Legion, Post #99. She is preceded in death by husband, Clyde, and brother, Maxwell Peacock. Helene is survived by son, Robert; grandchildren, Kristin Bromme and Brian Gibbs; great-grandchildren, Katie and Blake Bromme; sisters, Marian Brundage and Betty Thuleen; brother Donald Peacock; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, February 8, 2008 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So, Minneapolis with visitation one hour before. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials May be made to Minnehaha United Methodist Ch. or the American Heart Association.
