Smith, Genevieve A.
Age 90 of Rosemount, passed away on October 12th, 2020. Genevieve A. Smith was born to Stanley and Mary Koval on May 4th, 1930 in Lanes Mills, PA. She married Harry W. Smith on May 17th, 1952 in Brockway, PA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry; and many sisters and brothers. She is survived by her children, Lee Ann, Delores (Brian Lindemann), Dennis (Barb), Patty and Mary Kay (Doug) Haas; 20 grandchildren; 38½ great-grandchildren; sister, Patty Ann (Michael) Cimbora; wonderful friend, Shirley Rowley; also many other relatives and friends. Genevieve worked for Brockway Glass, Greif Bros, Dakota County Children and Rosemount Elementary School. Her hobbies included working on her flower and vegetable gardens, taking care of the home, and taking care of anyone who needed help. Genevieve enjoyed completing many puzzles and took some of them to the Dakota County Fair where she always brought home a ribbon. She loved watching Nascar, the Twins and the Vikings. Genevieve was extremely proud of her grandbabies that served our country. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Monday, October 19th, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 13900 Biscayne Avenue West, Rosemount, with visitation one hour prior. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
