Ditty, Ernest Gene age 81. Born Feb. 3, 1928 in Mpls., passed Tucson, AZ May 24, 2009. Preceded in death by his parents; son, David; brothers, Richard, Theodore and Robert. Survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Marlene; children, Thomas Ditty (Karen), Diane Hughes, Duane Ditty (Siobhan); 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Ditty (Joyce); sister, Marian Braun; sister-in-law, Lou Ditty. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is not gone. HE IS JUST AWAY. Service Monday 11 AM, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave S. Visitation Sunday 2-5 PM and one hour before service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society or Salvation Army.
