Ellen M. Thompson

age 84, Ellen passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 6, 2022, with family by her side. Preceded in death by the love of her life Jerry, parents Einar and Margrete Duvick. Survived by daughters, Kris (Dan) Seeler and Kari (Scott) Schuveiller; son, Mark (Holly); beloved grandchildren Ashley, Kelly (Dusty), and Nick, Jessica (Billy), Katie (Ty), Nicole (Tim), Andrew, Lucie, and Natalie; five beloved great-grandchildren; Cody, Grace, Callie, Rylin, and Hunter; Very Special brother Norm (Diane); sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many near and dear friends. Ellen graduated from Central HS in 1955, Miller Hospital VS in 1956, and Mt. Sinai in 1958. She went to work at Park Nicollet Medical Center and retired after 38 years and LOVED every minute of it. She loved her volunteer work with Martin Luther Manor, Meals on Wheels, and Simpson Food Shelf; and spending time with friends from the Ladybugs, Ladies of Faith, Early Bird Bible Study, BSF and cribbage groups. She was a loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and friend. She was incredibly generous, supportive, and had a loving heart. She was truly a shining light of positivity and touched many lives. She ALWAYS FOUND JOY IN THE ROOM! A celebration of her life is planned for Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11:00 am. Visitation 1 hour prior at House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 7625 Chicago Ave. So. Richfield.  Livestream at:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWGuAMVXeYe5BuxQWhkVWDAInterment at Fort Snelling.
