Eleanor Jane Fredrickson, 92, of Eagan, passed away gently and peacefully Thursday, February 13, 2014 after facing numerous health challenges. She was born July 10, 1921 in Minneapolis to Edgar and Thora (nee Rood) Weed. Eleanor is survived by sons Duane and Bryan (Nancy), grandchildren Stacey (Greg) Rarden, Allen (Ashlie), Jana (Dan) Klocke, and Kyle, great-grandchildren Rebecca, Dylan, Savannah, Bryson, and Rylan, sister Joann Owensby, brother Bud Weed, plus beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Kermit, a sister Lorraine, and brother Stan. With her “feisty” demeanor, Eleanor was always well dressed with her coordinating jewelry and styled hair!! She loved working with her hands, especially cooking and creating beautiful music on the organ. We will always remember her spirit and dedication to her family. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Commons on Marice, Fairview Hospice, Southview Acres, and Fairview Ridges Hospital. Memorial Services are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, February 19 at The Commons on Marice, 1380 Marice Drive, Eagan, with a Gathering of Family and Friends 1 hour prior. Memorials to The Commons on Marice are preferred.
