Lenarz, Edith E. (Brown) 96, of Mpls., MN, died June 7 at The Lodge on Summit Oaks. She was born Feb. 16, 1911 on Cherry Valley Farm near Millville, Iowa to Charles & Pearl (Heckel) Brown. At age 4 she moved to La Moure County, ND. Edith graduated from Edgely High School & attended Valley City State Teachers College and the U of ND. She graduated with a BS in Education. She taught at Russell #4 Country School and was a Math & English teacher at Rolla and Mayville High Schools. She was united in Marriage on August 19, 1939 to Donald Lenarz at St. Philip Nari Catholic Church in Chicago. Preceded in death by husband, Donald; brothers, Russell and William; sister, Ruth Rohrwasser. Survived by daughters, Shelle Litterer (Donald) and Donna Woodward (Charles); 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Mae Rand (Donald) of Faribault. Visitation on Monday from 5-7 PM at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Tuesday at Church of St. Helena, 3201 E. 43rd St., Mpls. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials preferred to The Church of St. Helena or The Parkinson’s Foundation.
