Kyle, Earle F., IV Age 41, of Apple Valley. Died October 8, 2006 in a boating accident in northern Minnesota along with his son, Nicholas W. Kyle. Survived by his sons, Charlie and Chase; siblings, Lanse (Karen) Kyle, Jonathan Kyle, and Kimberly Kyle; mother, Toyse Kyle; father, Earle Kyle, Jr.; and many other relatives and friends. Earle was a Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel for Medtronic, Inc. in Minneapolis and had been with the company for six years. Prior to that he was a partner in a private law firm. He graduated with J.D. and M.P.A. degrees from the University of Minnesota Law School and the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs in 1991. He did additional studies at Stanford, Dartmouth, Wharton Business School, Harvard, and Cambridge University in England. A lifelong resident of the Twin Cities, he obtained his B.A. degree in business & economics from Macalester College in St. Paul in 1987. He was very active in a number of professional and volunteer organizations and boards. He was a true Renaissance man who loved composing music, artistic oil painting, home remodeling, sports and various outdoor activities. Most of all, he loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Service Saturday, 10 AM Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley. Visitation Friday 5-8 PM, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th and Garrett, Apple Valley. Interment Lakewood. Memorials preferred to Charlie and Chase Kyle’s Educational Fund, Wells Fargo, 14325 Cedar Ave. S., Apple Valley, MN 55124.
