Dr. Rudolf J., age 69, of St Joseph, MO passed away on December 10th at Northfield Hospital, Northfield, MN

Rudolf was born on March 5, 1938 in Petrovice, Czechoslovakia the son of Alois and Marie Krzewki. He married Kvetoslava Videnka on September 4, 1965 in Detmarovice, Czechoslovakia. Together they immigrated to the United States in 1970 and became proud citizens in 1975. Rudolf graduated from the institute of Chemical Technology in Prague, Czechoslovakia with a Masters Degree in Chemical Technology in 1960. He completed his Doctorate in Physical Chemistry in 1964. In 1973, Rudolf finished a Post-Doctoral fellowship in Physical Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Through the years he worked as a research chemist in the animal health industry and obtained several patents related to polyurethane insecticidal ear tags. He most recently worked at Boehringer Ingelheim and retired in December of 1999. Rudolf was fluent in several languages and enjoyed travel, World War II history, movies and music. His twin grandchildren brought him great happiness. He was always proud to share pictures and stories of the grandkids.
Rudolf is survived by 2 daughters, Margaret Sundheim and her husband Jeremy, and Catherine Krzewki; twin grandchildren, Jordan and Madeline Sundheim; and a brother, Alfred, Meridan, Connecticut. Preceding Rudolf in death was his loving wife of 42 years, Kvetoslava, and his parents
