Obituaries

It was a pleasure to have been friends with such a wonderful man of God. He reached out and helped anywhere he could. I came to know Doug through an ad he placed in our church bulletin as he was looking for people to bowl. I became a member of his team and we became friends. I especially remember how excited he was when he found out he and Jo were going to be parents. How proud he was to show Amanda off and care for and bring her up in the church. Another happy time for him was his trip to Orlando where he visited Disneyland with his parents and came back with his blue Mickey Mouse tie. He will be missed but he will be forever in our hearts and mind. Will keep Jolayne, Amanda, Pat, Bob and family in my prayers. God will get you through this and you will all be reunited again one day.
