Dear Don and JoAnne: I am so sorry to hear about Don Sr. - as you may recall my parents lived at the Villa while Don was there and I would often times run into him when visiting. What a delightful man - I know he will be deeply missed. Sincerely, Susan Schiller;

I was so sorry to see the passing of your dad. We served on the board at Greenleaf III together for a few years and had many conversations on the phone and when he was out walking his dogs until he moved. He was funny and had so much to share. Although I never met his family, he really was proud of you. It was a pleasure knowing him.;

Dear Donald and David, I was so sorry to hear about your dad. He was always such a welcoming presence here at Grace Lutheran--always with a smile and a handkerchief in the pocket of his suitcoat. We will miss him. I had hoped to be able to see you at his funeral, but Marv and I will be out of the country. It's been a long time since you lived next door to us, but I heard about you from your dad through the years. He was proud of you. Our prayers go out to you for strength and healing, and happy memories of times with your dad. Pat Johnson
