Lachman
Donald L., age 72, of Eagan, MN. Born March 27, 1934 in LaCrosse, WI. Don passed away peacefully with family at his side December 27, 2006 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s and heart disease. Don served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, loved golf, his grandkids and puppy, Roxy, and had an infectious smile and quick wit. He is preceded in death by sisters Elaine Volk and Virginia Lachman; and brothers Richard, Robert, Calvin and William. Don is survived by his loving family: wife, Jean LaVonne; children: Sandra Lachman, Mark (Cyndi) Lachman, Julia (Thomas) Griffin and Cristina (Kenneth) Wohlford; grandchildren: Zachary, Alec, Bradley, Rachel, Garrett and Jakob; brother, Jack; sister, Helen (Jesse) Brodie and many other family members and special friends in LaCrosse and Door County, WI, Arizona, and Minnesota. Visitation at 12 noon and funeral service at 1:00 pm on Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, MN. Interment Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
