Debbie and I shared many a laugh, many a tear and many good meals. Once we went to a seafood restaurant in Orlando and the young waitress served me oysters with pearls in them. The girl did not understand where pearls came from and thought we were upset. She kept trying to take my plate away and give me something else. Debbie got so tickled and we were laughing so loud we almost were asked to leave. I could not explain to the server that pearls in oysters are a “good” thing. Every time I would start explaining Debbie would start laughing hysterically and so would I. We carried each other out of the restaurant that day laughing like lunatics. We never could talk about it because we became hysterical, laughing till we cried. She would say pearls or oysters and I lost it. I loved her laugh. She had a gift of humor. Debbie will always be my dear friend. My heart is broken hearing the news of her passing. Thanks for sharing your life with me. I love you, Debbie.;

I am so sorry to hear of the death of our good friend Deb. She was in our Victories Group at the Celebrate Recovery, at Hosanna Lutheran Church. As her leader, and friend, I spent time in the prayer room with her and in our group. She was a great listener, and so eager to learn, pray and be free from both the physical and emotional pain that she suffered with. Deb had a tremendous faith, and knew her Savior intimately. She was an intelligent women that sought the Lord with all her heart, and her only hope! I know she is resting in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at this moment; she is eternally loved and filled with glory! She will be missed so very very much!!! Love, Mary Weichelt;

Debbie was a wonderful mentor for me when I started at Doctor's Choice Home Health in 2009. She was a good friend, a walking Nursing Encyclopedia, and someone that I could always count on & confide in. She has already been very much missed, when she left us; in life, to return home to Minnesota. She will forever be missed in her passing. May God Bless her and I hope that she is with her son, Bryce, and has obtained eternal comfort. I love you, Debbie! XO, Dana;

I can still clearly see her face and hear her voice, but it has been over 10 years since I worked with Debbie.She was so warm and friendly and open..She was the kind of person I shared secrets with...a kindered spirit to everyone. Loving, generous, caring. I am sorry for your loss.;

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Deb. Although we worked together only a short time at Integrated Home Care, it was clear that Deb was a great nurse and a wonderful person. She will be missed.;
