To the Pierce Family, I am deeply saddened to have read David?s post on my face book about your loss. I was so lucky to be a part of all your lives when we first met at camp Darby, Italy in 1980-1982. Dave, Your father was a mentor to me, he and I spent many hours at the office and TDY together while assigned with the 509th Sig Bn., Leghorn Army depot, Italy. I will cherish and remember him, your Mother Maria (she was an Angle) and all of you for the Good times we spent together. We will keep you all in our prayers. Carmen and Family, Your dad was a big part of my life. He was one of a kind. He will be missed so much, your mom and dad were made for each other. Maria was waiting with her arms open to welcome your dad in heaven. All of you are in my prayers at this time. He was my Buddy.
