William Dale Age 92. Born July 2, 1916 in Bottineau, ND, of Apple Valley, formerly of New Hope, MN. Passed away Dec. 20, 2008 at the Augustana Health Care Center, Apple Valley. Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Mae Bella (Diver). Survived by loving wife of 67 years, Joann (Bruderer); son, Charles (Linda); 2 grandsons, John and Michael. WWII 90th Division veteran of the Normandy Invasion. Purple Heart recipient for wounds suffered during the Rhineland Campaign at Dillingen in the Saar Basin. He returned to a full life that included 30 years of employment with the U.S. Postal Service and many happy years together with his wife Joann. Funeral service Tuesday, 11 AM, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th & Garrett Ave., Apple Valley with visitation 1 hour before. Private interment Sunset.
