Beverly Mae Christiansen was born on December 30th, 1931 to Septer and Loretta Christiansen of Maynard, Minnesota.  She went to be with Jesus on October 12th, 2023.

Betty married Kenneth (Ken) Holien in December of 1952.  They raised three children, Mike, Pam and Linda while living in Richfield, Minnesota.  They belonged to Oak Grove Lutheran Church in Richfield where Betty taught Sunday school.

Ken and Betty loved square dancing and round dancing with lots of good friends.  They also were part of a card club that met for many years.

Betty enjoyed time up at Lake Minnewaska with her children and grandchildren, playing cards and board games.  She also loved being in Arizona during the winter months to beat the cold of Minnesota and had many friends there as well.

Later in life Ken and Betty moved to the Gramercy in Burnsville.  They lived there for 20 years and have many friends there.  When they both needed a little more help, they moved to the Fountains at Hosanna where they have been loved and cared for by many.

Betty had many close friends and family that loved her dearly.

She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Kenneth Holien, her children, Michael (Nancy) Holien, Pamela (Monte) Carney and Linda (Ray) Kurek.   She also is survived by four grandchildren , Andy (Jessie) Carney, Adam (Erin) Carney, Kristen (Mike) Pahl and Bethany (Ryan) Limberg.  Her great grandchildren are Maya, Logan & Ava Carney, Mackenzie & Wesley Limberg and Simon & Levi Pahl.
