Barbara A. Kiral (nee Breza), age 83 of Rosemount, MN passed away peacefully July 7, 2023 surrounded by family. Barb was born in Winona, MN on February 27, 1940 to John “Chet” and Vanita (Bitu) Breza.

Barb graduated from Winona Sr. High School in 1958. In 1961 she married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Kiral and they moved to the twin cities.

She was a loving mother to Brenda and Scott. Unfortunately, Scott was lost in an aviation accident in 2004.

Following retirement, Barb and Jerry enjoyed spending their summers in Minnesota and winters in Arizona.

Barb’s working career included Control Data, General Dynamics, Ceridian and Kohl’s.

Barb enjoyed traveling, gardening and genealogy. She was an avid reader and led the Bloomington Crime Prevention book sales in the early years.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, Barb will be dearly missed by her husband of 61 years, Jerry; daughter, Brenda (Brian) Teter; grand children: Austin (Lia) Teter, Daniel Kiral, and Mara Teter; great-granddaughter, Lily Teter and sister, Vicki (David) Thrune. Barb was preceded in death by her parents and son, Scott.

We like to think of her passing not as there she goes, but here she comes.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 10 AM to Noon at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary in Apple Valley. Barbara will be laid to rest in the family plot at Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona, MN.
